Summary
The bill would allow for the parent of any student to petition a school unit for the development of a seizure action plan if the student is diagnosed with a seizure disorder.
The plan, at minimum, would include from the student’s health care provider, the students’ name, seizure medication, dosage and method of administering the medication, frequency of the medication, symptoms necessitating medication. The plan would also require a written statement from the parents allowing for administration of the medication.
