Please welcome your WakeMed colleagues to the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) membership family. Recently, their leadership added the 282 physicians and 97 physician assistants to our membership ranks. Not only are the numbers of health system affiliated providers growing, so is their role in the overall delivery of care. This group – like most of our membership – is actively involved in working with the hospital toward improvements in the coordination, quality and value of the care provided to the patients and families served.
