Bill Summary 

This bill would direct the State Board of Education to recommend a school nurse staffing standard and develop an implementation plan to meet that standard by 2020. The bill would direct DHHS and DPI to develop a plan to consolidate certain school based nursing funding programs. This would also require DHHS to examine Medicaid reimbursement for school based nursing services documented by  504 plans and health plans.
