SB 516 – State Employees/Paid Parental Leave (not sure if we should track this one so I kept it short)

This bill would give State Employees paid parental leave within the first 12 weeks after birth or adoption of a child. This time would be available without using the employee’s sick and vacation leave, however, could not be used for retirement purposes.
