Community Practitioner Program (CPP Legacy)
$17.3M in loans → $739M in free/reduced care. 42x multiplier.
Community Practitioner Program (2.0)
Prioritizes equitable access and a representative healthcare workforce pathway and care for underrepresented communities in rural NC.
Disaster Relief
Provides emergency response to catastrophic natural events and health crises, such as Helene and the COVID-19 pandemic.
NC Clinicians & Physicians Retention & Well-Being Consortium (NCCPRW)
Provides statewide collaboration on clinician wellness—advocacy, resources, and systemic change.
ONSMS Real Talk Workshops
Suicide prevention training for clinicians, colleagues, and communities.
NC Professionals Health Program (NCPHP)
Confidential support for clinicians facing burnout, substance use, and mental health challenges.
Financial Recovery Program
In September 2020, the NC General Assembly awarded the NCMS Foundation a $25M grant to be distributed to independent medical practices.
Kanof Institute for Physician Leadership
Prepares physicians to provide leadership in their communities and in the medical profession.
Project VBOT: Tackling the Opioid Epidemic
Established coalition of organizations that address the Opioid Addiction epidemic in North Carolina.
