Bill Summary

This bill would allow immunizing pharmacists to administer the flu vaccine to people 10 years and older. (Current law is age 14 and over.)

The bill also allows an immunizing pharmacist to administer a flu vaccine to a patient ages 6 and up if there is a specific prescription order initiated by a prescriber following the physical examination of the patient bu the prescriber.

The bill also allows pharmacists to prescribe the following vaccines:

  • Serogroup B meningococcal
  • HPV
  • Hepatitis A
