As we continue to face the challenges with COVID-19, there can be no doubt about how the pandemic has highlighted major issues in our society, in particular equity and access to health care.  Join us for this week’s Power Hour as we discuss LBGTQ+ and what challenges this community is facing when it comes to health care in NC and beyond.  Moderated by Franklin Walker, VP Rural Health Systems Innovation you will have the opportunity to listen and converse with a group of experts such as Carly Kelley, MD, endocrinologist and Co-director of Duke’s Adult Gender Medicine Clinic, Holly Christopher Lewis MD, PhD from Duke General Surgery Residency Program, Jugta Kahai, MD, Pediatrician,  from Columbus Regional Healthcare System and Dane R. Whicker, PhD
Director, Gender and Sexual Diversity Initiatives, Office of Diversity and Inclusion, Duke School of Medicine; Director, Equity in Research Core, Duke Clinical and Translational Science Institute;
