KIPL Power Hour: COVID-19 and Schools

Recently the NCMS and NC Pediatric Society issued a joint media statement supporting students and teachers returning to in-person schooling based on the important role schools play in children’s educational achievement, health and wellbeing. With COVID looking like every other viral syndrome that is common in children, having cold-like symptoms will still keep kids out of school a lot. In addition, while kids do not seem to be major spreaders, what about the other staff in school? Join us for a conversation around COVID-19 and schools this Friday at 12:00 PM.

The weekly Power Hours are offered to you by Kanof Institute for Physician Leadership/ North Carolina Medical Society Foundation and aims to provide a forum for ongoing conversation, collaboration and community. Tune in to Power Hour on Fridays to hear from different experts, decision makers and influencers on a variety of topics. The format is informal and conversational and sessions are easy to access through Zoom. The Power Hours will be recorded and made readily available to you through Morning Rounds.
