Take Action! – Oppose HB 220 Section 12
HB 220 – Insurance Technical Changes would allow insurance companies to create plans with narrow networks. In testimony, these new Exclusive Provider Plans were compared to HMOs of the 80s and 90s. That would mean less choice and more financial burden for your patients for all out of network charges. This allows insurance companies to continue to profit with no commitment to pay anything for your services if you are not one of their select providers.
Let your legislators know that patients should not be victims of forced narrow networks by insurance companies.
