This bill was filed in both the House and Senate. This bill would establish a joint committee to study the unfunded liability of the retiree health benefit fund. The committee would examine seven different areas that could impact the fund, some include reducing the number of individuals eligible, and increasing the amount that retirees pay for health benefits. This committee would issue a report of its findings and recommendations, including legislation to the 2018 Regular Session of the General Assembly.
