SB 467 – North Carolina Retirement Reform
Primary Sponsors: Sen. Andy Wells (R – Catawba), Sen. Bill Rabon (R – New Hanover), Sen. Ron Rabin (R – Harnett)
This bill would reform the NC retirement system by providing that people hired by the state beginning July 1, 2018 would participate in the NC 401(K) plan. This bill would also change the state health plan eligibility for state retirees.
