Bill Summary

This bill would make individuals causing or contributing to contamination responsible for the costs of cleanup and providing alternative water supplies affected by contamination. In addition, the bill would prohibit an electric public utility from recovering costs related to the management of coal combustion ash and unlawful discharges from coal ash ponds.
