The North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) is pleased to introduce Kristen Spaduzzi, our new Director of Value-Based Health Care part of the NCMS’ Health System Innovation Team. Kristen will be responsible for helping our members make the transition to value-based health care as well as assist with payer issues along the way.
Kristen holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s degree in Sports Management both from Middle Tennessee State University. Her first job out of school was managing a corporate wellness center. Over the years, her career path has exposed her to many aspects of health care operations and management including working as a practice administrator for two UNC Physicians Network (UNCPN) family practice offices. She also participated in the NCMS Kanof Institute for Physician Leadership as part of the UNCPN customized leadership development program.
