![]() The Task Force is composed of talented physicians who regularly treat injured workers and who are dedicated to improving how doctors of all specialties interact with the workers' compensation system. This is the North Carolina Medical Society's longest-running task force. Richard Bruch, MD, chairs the Task Force, and Keith Kittelberger, MD, serves as Vice Chair. A compromise bill, HB 709, passed both chambers and received the Governor's signature in June. The NCMS was a key participant in the negotiations.
