Pathologists To Hold 2010 Annual Meeting April 16

The 2010 NC Society of Pathologists (NCSP) Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at the Rizzo Conference Center in Chapel Hill.  Participants will have an opportunity to hear expert presentations and earn 4.5 hours of CME credit.

Topics Include:

  • The New WHO Classification of Myeloid Neoplasms (James Vardiman, MD, University of Chicago Medical Center, featured speaker)
  • Ancillary Methods: Flow Cytometry and Immunochemistry in the Diagnosis and Classification of Myeloid Neoplasms
  • What Every Pathologist Should Know about Molecular Genetic Testing in Myeloid Neoplasms
  • The Patient’s and the Pathologist’s Rights (Dana Simpson, JD)
  • Legal Issues Affecting the Practice of Pathology (Samuel Thompson, JD)
