NCMS PAC: The United Voice for Medicine

Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the NCMS PAC and the important role it plays in advancing positive medical issues in the State of North Carolina. The NCMS PAC is the political education and action committee of the North Carolina Medical Society representing over 12,500 physicians, physician assistants, residents and medical students. NCMS PAC and its members play a vital role in establishing and maintaining relationships with state-level and federal office holders who vote in the best interest of our patients.

In the upcoming year, we will again be facing many challenges - the repercussions of a historic economic recession, the implementation of national healthcare reform, and the ever mounting pressure from health plans to take control of the practice of medicine. In these turbulent times it is crucial that physicians be politically united. Your NCMS PAC is that united front.

In these uncertain times your PAC will continue to be a positive and ethical advocate for your profession. You can trust it will be ethical in the decisions it makes when determining which candidates to support. And you can trust it is honest in the relationships it builds and nurtures each election cycle which helps further advance our legislative mission.

Your continued investment in the NCMS PAC is vital as the 2012 mid-term elections are just around the corner. Together, we can continue making the legislative goals of the North Carolina Medical Society a reality. Your support truly makes a difference.
