Proposed Committee Substitute Summary

This bill would align the NC false claims act with the Federal False Claims Act. The bill would also extend terms for the current members of the Advisory Council on Rare Diseases.  The bill would extend HIE connection for ambulatory surgical centers, dentists, and pharmacists until June 2021. The bill states that pharmacists would only be required to submit claims data once a day instead of twice a day.

Bill Summary 

This bill would require the NC Department of Health and Human Services to provide notification to the General Assembly upon the submission or non-submission of a Medicaid state plan amendment.
