As previously reported in the Bulletin, the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) along with other state and specialty medical societies across the country have called on United Healthcare (UHC) to reconsider and at least delay implementation of its decision to no longer pay for consultation codes effective Oct. 1, 2017. Read UHC’s announcement in its June 2017 Network Bulletin.
The letter mentioned in the previous Bulletin article was finalized and sent on July 27, 2017. Read the letter.
