In a recent letter to U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price, MD, the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) as one of the member societies of the Physicians Advocacy Institute (PAI) shared ideas on how to improve the efficiency of the health care system by alleviating onerous and expensive regulations on physician practices.
The letter, sent from PAI President and NCMS CEO Robert W. Seligson, states: “Administrative costs in the health care system must be addressed in any effort to control overall health care spending.”
