Learning Opportunities Center

Understanding Human Factors to Improve Patient Safety is a workshop offered by the North Carolina Quality Center PSO, Tuesday, May 3, or Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at the North Carolina Hospital Center in Cary. Using Lean to Implement EHR, is a one-day workshop sponsored by the NCMS Foundation and presented by International Lean Healthcare Facilitator Sean Lewis, on Friday, May 6, 2011, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. The workshop will cover three main topics: Understanding the Lean Thinking Approach to Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Swim Lane Innovation Methodology.
