HB 592 – “Kick Cancer for Kids” Special Plate
Primary Sponsor: Rep. Pat Hurley (R – Randolph)
This bill would authorize the NC Division of Motor Vehicles to produce a “Kick Cancer for Kids” special registration plate. The plate would display a gold ribbon with children’s hand prints surrounding the ribbon.
Half of the proceeds from this special plate would go to the Children’s Oncology Group Foundation to be used to provide support for its mission and goals. The other half would go to Riley’s Army Inc. to be used to provide support to children with cancer and their families.
