Join Us for Learning — and Some Fun — At the LEAD Health Care Conference

The North Carolina Medical Society leadership and staff are busy finalizing the educational sessions for our innovative LEAD (Leadership, Education, Advocacy, Discovery) Health Care Conference to be held Oct. 18-19 in Raleigh. But in addition to booking speakers to address the topics you said you wanted, we’re also building in some fun.

THURSDAY EVENING RECEPTION AT THE ANGUS BARN

On Thursday evening, Oct. 18, we’ll gather at the beautiful lakeside Pavilion at the Angus Barn for a delicious dinner. Then dance to the rock rhythms of The Speculations, the well-regarded band made up of fellow North Carolina physicians with some real musical talent.  The group started back in 2001 with band members from the OB/GYN department at East Carolina University.  After playing a few local shows, the mission of the band solidified around raising money for local charities. They have raised close to $100k for a variety of causes since then.  Check out their website to learn more.

FRIDAY EVENING GALA

Then, on Friday evening at the gala honoring members, enjoy the ever swinging sound of the Russ Wilson Band.

Keep an eye on the LEAD Health Care Conference website for updates on educational content as well as other fun activities planned for this not-to-be-missed gathering.
