‘Health Care Provider’ to Include Paramedics

This bill would amend the definition of a health care provider in article 1B of Chapter 90 of the general statutes to include paramedics.

 

House:

This bill received a favorable report in the House Health Committee on March 14, 2017.

This bill received a favorable report in the House Judiciary I Committee on March 29, 2017.

This bill passed second and third reading in the house on March 30, 2017.

This bill will now move to the Senate.

Senate:

This bill was referred to the Senate Rules and Operations Committee on April 3, 2017.

This bill was withdrawn from Senate Rules and Operations Committee and re-referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee on June 8, 2017.

This bill was heard for discussion only in the Senate Judiciary Committee on June 20, 2017. Rep. Dennis Riddell (R-Alamance) introduced the bill. This bill was passed in the committee, ad will now move to the Senate Rules and Operations Committee.
