HB 690 – SUDEP Awareness Week

This bill would create the Shannon Leigh Adcock and Steven Anthony Christos Memorial Act to establish the second week in November as the sudden, unexpected death of a person with epilepsy, “SUDEP” week in North Carolina.
This bill was introduced in the House Health Committee on April 19, 2017. This bill received a favorable report, and will now move to the House floor.
This bill passed the House unanimously on April 20, 2017, and will now move to the Senate.
