CPEP Locates Raleigh Office at NCMS Center for Leadership in Medicine

The Center for Personalized Education for Physicians (CPEP) is pleased to announce their Raleigh office will be located in the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) building in downtown.  As an independent non-profit organization, CPEP is a resource for physicians when they are contemplating a return to clinical practice. CPEP’s headquarters is located in Denver, Colorado.

As CPEP launches its Raleigh office, they are seeking physician consultants to assist with the cornerstone evaluation activity of a CPEP assessment —  the Structured Clinical Interview (SCI). The SCI is a 90-minute interview either at the physician consultant’s office or at CPEP’s Raleigh office. During the SCI, the consultant will evaluate the participant’s medical knowledge, clinical judgment and reasoning, communication style, and in some cases, documentation skills. A CPEP Associate Medical Director is present during the interview to provide oversight and guidance.  More information is available at the CPEP website .

If you are a licensed, board certified, practicing physician in any specialty and would like to be a part of keeping and/or returning physicians to sound clinical practice,  please contact Bill O’Neill or call 919-238-6436.

CPEP also is in need of equipment to furnish a mock physician exam room.  The needs include an exam table, wall mounted instrument panel (sphygmomanometer, otoscope, ophthalmoscope, thermometer) and a reflex hammer, tuning fork, and sphygmomanometer (unattached to wall unit).  Donations are greatly appreciated.  Please contact Bill O’Neill with donations or suggestions.
