HB 226 – Consultation Requirements for DHHS

This bill would direct the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to consult with the House and Senate Appropriations Committees on Justice and Public Safety before implementing any new safety policy regarding safety assessments. This bill has been referred to the House Health Committee. If the bill is found favorable in House Health it will then move to the House Appropriations Committee.
