Sponsor: Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House

This bill would change the Governor’s appointments from six to four members.

This bill would change the number of public members from three to one.

This bill would add two public members appointed by the General Assembly. One member would be upon the recommendation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives. One member would be upon the recommendation of the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.

This bill received a favorable report in the House Rules and Operations Committee on April 25, 2017.

This bill was heard on the House floor on April 25, 2017. It passed second reading with a vote of 80-39.

This bill will now move to the Senate.
